I appreciate your visiting my web site!  Here, we're going to try our best to keep you informed on what's going on in our State.  And, is there ever a lot going on that will affect you and your children and grandchildren for decades to come.

Our State is in the grip of special interests, special interests that contribute not one thing to improving the life of your family, our state's economy and the creation of jobs, our state's educational standing, and insuring your liberty as an American citizen, a citizen of North Carolina, or a citizen of Davidson County.

As your County Commissioner,  I watched the State push more and more unfunded mandates on you, the Davidson County taxpayers.  The Hugh Holliman's in Raleigh may feel good when they vote for some of their programs, but they aren't paying for them.  They're voting to require the counties … that's you … to foot the bills they impose.

It is an understanding of that burden,  originating from the State,  that has prompted me to enter this difficult race.

It is an understanding of that burden that gives me special qualifications to represent you in Raleigh.

You know me,  and you know I will never support spend and tax programs that are fiscally irresponsible;  further, you know I'll use the office, that you provide me, to expose the excesses and keep you informed.

I'll speak out against those that control our General Assembly … groups like the NCAE, that fights Charter Schools, when it has been acknowledged by history that charter schools do a better job than our public schools in educating our children.
